After graduation, she worked at UT Health performing Neurosurgery research by doing collection, analysis and data entry. She currently works as a Clinical Research Coordinator II at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital. Where she collaborates with doctors to enroll in various pediatric clinical studies. Araceli plans to apply to medical school, and continue to pursue her dream of becoming a physician. She believes that everyone should be provided with equal medical assistance regardless of their financial status. Araceli wants to be a physician who finds ways to provide comfort other than medical treatment, by connecting them through community resources that can improve their quality of life. She wants to be a part of the change in health that is taking place, where medical professionals culturally reflect their patient demographics. When Araceli isn’t studying, she fills her cup by reading books, watching kdramas and listening to music.
