Born in El Paso, TX, and raised in Mexico, my educational journey took an unexpected turn when I faced challenges leading to my high school dropout. Determined to forge a future, I moved to the U.S. and enrolled in JobCorps, a government-run boarding school. Here, vocational training as a nurse assistant sparked my profound interest in the medical field, laying the foundation for a transformative path.

As my journey unfolded, I embraced service in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman, navigating diverse medical settings in internal medicine and the emergency department. These experiences solidified my decision to pursue higher education with the aspiration of becoming a physician. Along the way, overcoming various challenges not only shaped my resilience and character but also strengthened my unwavering commitment to succeeding and contributing to the betterment of my community. In the midst of this transformative journey, a new chapter unfolded with the birth of my daughter, adding a profound layer of motivation and purpose to my endeavors. Supported by my wonderful family, including my wife, parents, and brother, this journey reinforces my belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue their dreams, even if it requires hard work and determination.
