Kayla Hicks

My name is Kayla Hicks and I am from Lithonia, GA. I earned my Bachelor’s in Biology from

Spelman College in 2022 and recently graduated from Agnes Scott with a Master’s in Medical

Sciences. I am an aspiring physician with interests in cardiology and pediatrics. In my spare

time, I enjoy making charcuterie boards for various events.

Throughout my experiences of shadowing and volunteering in a clinical setting, I have

embraced the commitment and drive to be a physician and would like to utilize the tools,

resources, and mentorship I have gained along the way to help diversify medicine and succeed

by providing my patients the best quality care. I believe participating in this program aligns with

my life mission to serve others in the capacity of a physician and will contribute to my personal

growth and drive to enter the health profession.
