The 15 White Coats represents a group of medical students determined to reinforce positive imagery in
schools around the world by continuing a legacy of resilience. Our mission is to enrich accessible, cultural storytelling, inspiration and mentorship to the youth of tomorrow. We intend to do this by reimagining the imagery our children see, such that what they see reflects who they are and who they can become.
Resilience is in our DNA
OUR THREE GOALS
As Seen On
We will produce more images of black doctors in the K-12 space by placing framed and signed 15 White Coat photos in schools around the country to serve as an inspiration to our FUTURE PHYSICIANS. Our goal is #100KCopiesIn100KClassrooms. If kids can see it, they can believe it.
We will help prepare college students by advising on what is needed in undergrad to prepare for medical school. We know that many students do not understand what is needed from day one to be competitive for medical schools and examinations. We want to provide resources and time to ensure we are all ready.
We will provide funds towards scholarships for students of color applying to medical school, which can cost over $3,000. We recognize this financial burden because we have personally experienced it, and want to help alleviate that cost.
