Jorge Ochoa
FTFP 2.0
My name is Jorge Ochoa, and I have been a paramedic for the Alameda County 911 system since July 2019. Before my paramedic career, I worked as an EMT for NorCal Ambulance for one year while attending paramedic school. I am a licensed paramedic in California and hold certifications in PALS, ACLS, PHTLS, AMLS, and TECC. Additionally, I am part of the Tactical EMS group in my county, which allows me to work alongside law enforcement in hostile environments. I completed my general education at Las Positas Community College while working as a paramedic and then transferred to CSU East Bay. I attended CSU East Bay to earn my degree in Biology with the aim of applying to medical school. I have made the dean's list for my good grades at East Bay and have been accepted into FTFP, which will help me achieve my goal of becoming a physician for my community.
