Kavon Mitchell

I am Kavon Mitchell, serving as a Clinical Protocol Technician at Tulane University's Cancer Center.

I possess a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University and a master's degree

in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Holy Cross. In my professional role, I engage with

numerous cancer research trials and databases, ensuring that accurate information is conveyed

from my site to various sponsors. Additionally, I conduct quality checks to guarantee that the

data meets the required standards for reporting. I take pride in pushing beyond my limits and

refuse to accept "no" as an answer; I am determined to find ways to achieve my goals, regardless

of the challenges. A significant accomplishment of mine was completing my master's degree during

the COVID pandemic, after a three-year break from undergraduate studies. It was a challenging

journey, but I embraced the challenge and earned my degree. I have always aspired to become a

physician and eagerly anticipate fulfilling this dream.
