Paris Harry

Greetings, my name is Paris Harry, and I am a third-year student at Dillard University, pursuing a double major in Biology and Health Sciences, with a minor in Chemistry. I'm from Vacherie, Louisiana, a small town where the Mississippi River meets the sunset. In addition to achieving academic success, I am actively engaged on Dillard’s campus, currently serving as the President of the Minority Association of Pre-medical Students. I am also involved in the Comprehensive Medical Mentoring Program as a clinical shadower. In the summer of 2023, I had the privilege of participating in the Summer Health Professions Educational Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center as a SHPEP scholar. Looking ahead, I aim to create an environment where minorities feel acknowledged and represented in the healthcare sector. I am honored to have been selected as a Funding the Future Physician Scholar, which will provide me with an opportunity to advance as a physician and help bridge the gap between minorities and health disparities.
