Hillary H. Norris, PhD is a Regional Medical Director at Adaptimmune working on cell therapy for solid tumors specifically sarcoma. Prior to Adaptimmune, she was an Executive Medical Science Liaison at Bristol Myers Squibb for 6 years supporting research in melanoma, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary solid tumors. Prior to BMS, Hillary has worked at Eli Lilly and Co. as an Immunology/Dermatology Medical Science Liaison and UCB Inc for 8 years as a Senior Medical Science Liaison, in which her therapeutic areas included Immunology/Rheumatology/Gastroenterology.
Hillary received her BS in Biology from the University of Richmond and her PhD in Immunology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. Her graduate work utilized a mouse model of immune system development specifically focused on T cell differentiation. From there Hillary completed a post-doctoral fellowship at NIH/NIAID. Upon completion of her post-doc she stayed with NIAID and was the Vice Chair and Scientific Coordinator of the animal care and use committee.
Hillary learned about The 15 White Coats® during a large oncology conference in which she heard Dr. Ledet speak and was very inspired by his story, drive, and passion.
