Dymond Burnette
Hailing from California, by way of Detroit, Michigan, Dymond Burnette is a graduate of Howard University where she majored in Biology and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science where she earned her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Urban Health Disparities. Currently, she is a Community Relations Coordinator where she plans health education programs and community events for Medicaid recipients in the District of Columbia. Dymond’s passion for eliminating health disparities has lead her to providing health education via her volunteer work as a Community Health Educator with the Alzheimer’s Association and Emergency Department Volunteer at the Baltimore Veterans’ Affairs Medical Center. Her interest in medicine stems from stepping in as an advocate for her grandparents while they tried to navigate the healthcare system. In her free time, Dymond enjoys working out, anything pumpkin spice and being a dog mama to Cali.
