Jhordan Buckley is a honors senior biology (pre-medical) student at North Carolina Agricultural
and Technical State University. She is also a part of the Honors Program at this university and

Health Center, more specifically, she is a co-chair of Project Mental Empathy, where her main
focus is working with Mental Health and Resiliency. Through this, she has been certified in
Mental Health First Aid training and recently obtained a certification to where she is able to
certify others.
Jhordan is passionate about serving those in her community and has volunteered for over 200
hours. In 2021, she started her own service project in her hometown, Suwanee, GA, called The
Triple P Project. This project was cultivated with a goal of collecting and donating school
supplies and feminine hygiene products for school children and incarcerated women. She chose
these two populations because she felt as if these groups were less taken care of within the
community. The following semester, she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Incorporated, an organization with a mission to bring service to all mankind.
